We are currently seeking a practice leader with strong operations and P&L experience to head our Advisory practice. As a highly visible national role, reporting directly to the COO, you will be responsible for positioning the firm as a leader in advisory services for small to mid-size businesses. The Advisory service line encompasses a diverse portfolio of business models and metrics within the Digital, Transactions, and ORS (Outsourcing & Resource) space. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Executing the Firm's vision, strategy, and goals for the Advisory practice to position Cherry Bekaert as a leading provider of advisory services for small to mid-size businesses.
- Ensuring that Advisory services to clients are exceptional and tailored to the specific needs of our middle-market clients.
- Consistently growing the practice through expansion of services to existing clients and obtaining new clients.
- Driving consistency, collaboration, and communication among Service Line, Market, Shared Services, Growth, and Industry leaders as well as with other stakeholders.
- Developing professionals within the practice and building a talent pipeline with the requisite technical expertise.
- Driving the use of technology, automation, offshoring, and artificial intelligence to improve service offerings, execution, and profitability.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree or MBA preferred
- Minimum 15 years of experience in consulting or advisory services, including at least 5 years' experience in a leadership or management role
- Demonstrated operations/P&L experience and ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Proven experience in managing at least 250-person business
- Demonstrated experience in driving growth and building an office, practice, market, industry group, service line, or similar
- Ability to drive success through the influencing of Partners and staff
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal/written/presentation), with the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences at different levels
- High emotional intelligence (EQ), with the ability to build trustful relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Proactive attitude (self-starter/initiative-taker), with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Flexible mindset (adaptable/agile), with the ability to embrace change and ambiguity
- Creative mindset (innovative/entrepreneurial), with the ability to generate new ideas and solutions
We offer a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $180,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to your base salary, you can expect to earn an annual bonus based on individual performance.
