Job Summary and Qualifications
The Radiology Services Lead will oversee the provision of radiology services, including diagnostic imaging, MRI, and CT services. This role requires strong leadership skills, as the incumbent will be responsible for coordinating work schedules, managing staff workload, and performing exams.
To succeed in this position, you will need to have a graduate degree in Radiography or equivalent, MRT licensure in the State of Texas, ARRT certification, and American Heart Association BLS certification. One year of experience as a Radiology Technologist is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate work schedules with the Departmental Director and/or scheduling desk to ensure workload coverage
- Act as interim manager in the absence of the Clinical Manager and/or Director
- Perform a variety of tasks involved in operating x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated body portions
- Adjust equipment for proper radiographic exposure techniques in accordance with radiation safety guidelines
- Responsible for proper use of Radiology Information Systems and understanding of CR/PACS systems
