Job Summary

As a Cardiac Patient Care Specialist with Providence RN, you will provide direct quality care for cardiac patients in an out-patient setting. Utilizing the nursing process, you will assess, treat, and care for patients with adult and geriatric needs. This role requires strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze patient data and understand the cognitive, physical, emotional/psychosocial, spiritual, and chronological maturation process.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with cardiac conditions, including adult and geriatric populations
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act
  • Collaborate with other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care activities
  • Accept professional development as an integral part of nursing practice
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
  • 1 year Nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Cardiac Device Specialist Certification
