About the RoleThe Fitness Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Personal Training department, including recruiting, hiring, scheduling, and training new personal trainers. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities- Department Leadership: Lead and manage the Personal Training department, ensuring high-quality service delivery and achieving business objectives.
- Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs for new personal trainers, ensuring they meet company standards and member expectations.
- Scheduling and Operations: Manage the scheduling process, ensuring adequate staffing levels and efficient operations.
- Member Engagement: Foster strong relationships with members, addressing concerns and providing exceptional service.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on department performance, highlighting areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Exercise Science or related field preferred.
- Certifications: National recognized personal training certification and CPR certification.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in fitness management or a related field.
- Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Competitive Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
