Career Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Design Engineer (PE) to join our team in Birmingham, AL or Panama City, FL. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for designing a variety of project types, including site designs, utility designs, grading plans, and stormwater runoff and detention.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop project plans and specifications
  • Collaborate with project team members and client representatives to resolve complex problems
  • Supervise the work of less experienced engineers and technical support personnel
  • Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and permits
  • Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to prepare engineering documents
  • Prepare cost estimates and oversee construction projects

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
  • Minimum 5 years of Civil Engineering/Site design experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Alabama or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Experience with MicroStation V8i and/or AutoCad, with Civil3D a plus
