Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Configuration Management Specialist to join our team at ManTech. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and security of our systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configuration Management: Authorize the release of software configuration changes specified by management and other functional groups.
  • Documentation Support: Provide advice and guidance on methods, procedures, and requirements to individuals responsible for the creation of documentation.
  • Policy Development: Support the development of the CM policy, plan, charters, processes, and procedures.
  • Change Management: Provide configuration accounting in support of change management activities and facilitate/participate in applicable IPTs and Control Boards.
  • Project Support: Provide project document CM support.
  • Process Improvement: Establish and maintain consistent configuration control practices.
  • Plan Updates: Provide support in updating the Configuration Management Plans.
  • Library Management: Establish and maintain Program Support Library to ensure configuration information is systematically maintained and readily available to the PMO.
Requirements
  • Education: A bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: A minimum of (7) seven years of experience as a Configuration Management Specialist.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work in a team-environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrated expertise with document management, with an eye for details.
  • Technical Knowledge: Demonstrated familiarity with IT systems; ability to understand technical concepts and translate them between technical and business personnel.
  • SAFe Experience: Experience or knowledge of SAFe.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SAFe Certification: SAFe Agilist or SAFe for Teams certification.
  • Legacy System Experience: Configuration management experience with TMIP-J legacy systems and applications.
Clearance Requirements
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements
  • Work Environment: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Mobility: Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Computer Use: Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
  • Communication: Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Compensation

The projected compensation range for this position is $121,800-$204,100. Compensation may vary based on factors such as relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
