Michael Page is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead high-volume multifamily projects in Houston, TX.

Job Overview

  • The ideal candidate will have multiple years of experience in commercial construction, specializing in multifamily development projects.

  • Candidates should be able to manage all aspects of commercial projects, including schedules, budgets, and profitability through comprehensive project completion.

Responsibilities

  1. Fluently read and interpret specifications and plans.
  2. Supervise work of subcontractors and laborers.
  3. Ensure timely ordering, delivery, and storage of materials on the job site.
  4. Maintain accurate drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  5. Create and oversee punch lists and ensure completion of all related work prior to inspections.
  6. Identify and communicate issues to the construction team.
  7. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  8. Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
  9. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  10. Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  11. Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
  12. Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  13. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  14. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  15. Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Science, Management, or a related field.
  • Commercial construction experience, specifically in multifamily development projects.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
