Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Office LPN to join our team at Nuvance Health Med Practice CT. As a member of our Endocrinology department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our physicians and APRNs.

About the Role

This Medical Office LPN position is responsible for assisting with patient exams, collecting medical data, and performing various administrative tasks. You will work closely with our healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for medical exams and obtain necessary medical information.
  • Collect and analyze patient specimens as directed by physicians or APRNs.
  • Provide direct patient care, including injections and other medical procedures.
  • Instruct patients on preventive care, medication management, and test preparation.
  • Contact patients to provide follow-up information, relay physician instructions, and update electronic medical records.
Requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of starting.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse licensure.
  • Basic medical knowledge and terminology.
  • Computer skills and data entry abilities.
  • Experience in obtaining accurate patient vitals and administering vaccines.
Working Conditions

This role involves manual dexterity, occupational risk, and physical exertion. The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and tolerate exposure to dirt, odors, noise, and human waste.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $24.15 - $41.32 per hour, depending on experience. Additional benefits include opportunities for professional growth, a supportive work environment, and a comprehensive compensation package.
