SailPoint Technologies is seeking an experienced Strategic Sales Representative to join our team. As a leader in Identity Security, we are looking for a sales executive who can navigate multinational accounts and negotiate high-value contracts.

The successful candidate will use their previous experience in SaaS, Cyber-security, or IAM/IGA to engage with approximately 10 target customers, typically involving a large number of POCs, BVA's, and RFPs. The sales motion will involve selling to end-users directly and leveraging the support of our influential channel partners, including GSIs like Deloitte, PwC, EY, and KPMG.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with senior-level decision-makers and other key buyers within named accounts and partners.
  • Establish a thorough understanding of prospective clients' business and industry, identifying business drivers/needs that the company can help resolve.
  • Develop compelling business value propositions for our solutions and ultimately close business.
  • Implement an operating cadence with virtual teams, including meetings with clear purpose.
  • Develop strategies to approach 'A' accounts, presented to management and approved.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in an IT, business, or sales-related field.
  • Business travel of approximately 50 percent yearly is expected for this position.
Benefits and Compensation

This role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. Base salaries for US-based employees will be in the range of $120,100 - $223,100, with competitive salaries for employees based in other locations.

SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint's differing products, industries, and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
