Job Summary

Cedar Hills Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Intake Coordinator - RN - Per Diem to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a key member of our admissions team, you will be responsible for coordinating the intake process, assessing patient needs, and ensuring a smooth transition into our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate admission and assessment processes for incoming patients
  • Provide technical assistance to the discharge planning process
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to initiate the admission process
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with a bachelor's degree or master's degree in social services or a related field
  • One or more years of experience in psychiatric hospital or a similar setting, preferably with intake assessment activities
  • Licensed to practice in the State of Oregon as an RN, LMSW, LCSW, LPC, or related licensure
  • Working knowledge of the DSM-V and the Mental Status Exam
  • Working knowledge of the Addiction and Recovery field preferred
