Job Summary
Mesilla Valley Hospital, a 120-bed facility operated by Universal Health Services, is seeking an experienced Intake Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As a key member of our admissions department, you will play a critical role in screening potential patients and determining the most appropriate level of care.

Responsibilities
As an Intake Registered Nurse, your primary responsibilities will include:
• Screening potential patients for admission
• Determining the most appropriate level of care for each patient
• Interfacing with medical staff, fellow department heads, administration, treatment teams, external case managers, managed care organizations, and other hospital departments
• Serving as a liaison between departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care
• Meeting performance measures related to walk-in triage time, walk-in disposition time, and e-fax time

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
• A Master's Degree in Social Work or a clinically related mental health field
• A valid New Mexico licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• At least one year of clinical experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks effectively

Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
