About the Role

We seek a dedicated and compassionate Part-time ICF Medical Director to oversee medical care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a key member of our team, you will plan, coordinate, and direct the delivery of essential medical services while collaborating closely with our program nurses.

Your responsibilities include conducting regular reviews for each individual, ensuring personalized and attentive care, completing physical examination reports, and recertifying Medicaid for ICF placement as needed. Additionally, you will be available by phone 24/7 to address urgent medical issues.

Key Requirements

  • A graduate from an accredited school of medicine with a Doctor of Medicine degree.">
  • ABMS certified or eligible in a primary care specialty.">
  • Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in Virginia and DEA registration.">
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with program nurses and engage with clients and their families.">
