Job Summary



As a Process Support Supervisor III at Dallas County, you will play a critical role in supervising the processing activities of one or more areas of responsibility. This includes planning, assigning, and supervising the work of others, establishing goals, developing schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving goals, and coordinating and evaluating processing activities.



Key Responsibilities




  • Supervise exempt and non-exempt staff in one or more areas of responsibility related to receiving, filing, and processing documents, fees, and fines; maintaining records, files, and reports; and providing excellent customer service to ensure compliance with applicable laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure effective delivery of services by training staff, coordinating, delegating, and monitoring the workflow to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness; providing feedback and collecting data for performance measures.
  • Act as a technical expert, researching and resolving problems and highly complex issues related to the program function, and responding to inquiries from staff, judges, attorneys, other County departments, and the general public.
  • Research and stay abreast of changes in applicable laws, participate in developing and implementing goals, objectives, and standard operating policies and procedures, and monitor compliance.
  • Hire and train staff, evaluate performance, and initiate disciplinary action.


Requirements




  • Education, experience, and training equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration or a job-related field of study.
  • Skilled in the use of standard software applications and ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing; establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, departments, and the general public.
  • Knowledge of applicable rules and laws pertaining to assigned section(s).
