Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system that has established itself as a leader in workplace excellence. Our innovative cardiovascular program requires the skills of a Registered Technologist to expand our services.

We are moving to a new state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower, which will feature three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. Our team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists collaborate with us to deliver exceptional patient care.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have experience in Radiologic Technology and certifications in Cardiovascular interventions. This position requires strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care. The selected technologist will serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare equipment before and during procedures
  • Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care
  • Maintain a sterile environment
  • Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students
  • Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks

Qualifications:

  • Completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS
  • Previous Procedural Area experience preferred
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technology. Registered and/or RCIS. Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $57,500 - $94,300, based on previous work experience.
