Social Worker

We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our team at Mass General Brigham in Nantucket, Massachusetts.

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, working day shift. The successful candidate will provide social work services to patients, including brief supportive counseling, psychosocial rehabilitation, and insurance counseling.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Social Work and one year of post-graduate experience in a hospital or acute care setting. A current, valid driver's license is required.

• Provide social work services to patients, including brief supportive counseling and psychosocial rehabilitation
• Counsel and provide crisis assessment and intervention for patients
• Collaborate with the care team regarding patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation to ensure continuity of care and insurance reimbursement

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Master's degree in Social Work
• One year of post-graduate experience in a hospital or acute care setting
• A current, valid driver's license
• Licensure, certifications, and/or registrations: Current, valid Massachusetts Licensed Certified Social Work license required

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000-$105,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as medical benefits, dental benefits, vision benefits, life insurance, and employee assistance programs.
