Job Summary:

The Clinical Care Assistant will provide direct patient care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse or designated healthcare professional in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and within the policies, procedures, and guidelines of Bon Secours.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide basic patient care, including care and comfort, vital sign measurement, personal care and hygiene, and assist with mobility.
  • Act as liaison between patient and nurse to report changes and/or concerns.
  • Provide high-level customer service to patients, families, visitors, and employees.
  • Document patient care accurately, precisely, and in a timely manner when applicable.
  • Participate in hand-off/report of pertinent information regarding patient and departmental needs upon arrival and when leaving.

Requirements:
  • BLS Basic Life Support certification (preferred upon hire, must obtain from an approved source prior to direct patient care).
  • Successful completion of nursing aide training program or equivalent experience.
