About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Youth Sports Coach to join our team at the YMCA of South Florida. As a key member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality sports programs to children aged 3-17.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, teaching, and supervising various youth sports programs. You will work closely with our Program Director to coordinate and promote our sports initiatives throughout the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate sports programs that cater to the needs and interests of our participants.
  • Collaborate with the Program Director to ensure seamless program delivery and communication with stakeholders.
  • Supervise and support volunteers and staff members as needed.
  • Maintain excellent communication with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and achievements.
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in ongoing professional development training.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; two or more years of experience in youth sports coaching or related field preferred.
  • First Aid/CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Bilingual skills (English and Spanish) highly desirable.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000-$60,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
