Nursing Leadership Position

Cassia is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to fill the role of Charge Nurse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents while promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct resident care, including administering medications and treatments, and monitoring for effectiveness/response.
- Manage medications, supplies, and equipment, including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Implement individual plans of care for residents and monitor staff providing care.
- Notify nurse managers, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and take follow-up action as necessary.
- Order lab, x-ray, ambulance, and other services as needed.
- Receive, transcribe, and carry out physician's orders.
- Participate in direct resident care as needed.
- Admit, transfer, and discharge residents according to procedures.
- Monitor nursing personnel on duty during the assigned shift.
- Perform additional tasks as requested.
- Current MN Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
- Strong nursing and leadership skills.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to make sound decisions.
- Excellent customer service skills.
