About the Role

OTR Solutions is a leading innovator in the transportation industry, providing cutting-edge solutions for factoring, fuel, and business management. We're a Private Equity-backed FinTech company on a mission to drive growth through technology.

The Senior Cloud Engineer will be part of our fast-growing technology team, working closely with the Manager of IT to design, manage, and maintain our system infrastructure. This individual will own and maintain the systems used by development teams, clients, customers, and internal staff.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and build a team, drive technology direction, and contribute to the growth of the business.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all development and production environments
  • Create and manage automated infrastructure deployments using Terraform
  • Create and manage automated application pipelines using Azure DevOps Pipelines
  • Design and implement scalable network and infrastructure architecture
  • Drive efficiencies through software improvement and root cause analysis resulting in service delivery, maturity, and scalability
  • Proactively identify and reduce issues through design, testing, and implementation of software-based solutions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, along with applicable work experience
  • 5+ years of experience working in Azure Cloud
  • 5+ years of experience developing in compiled languages: C#, Java, Go
  • 5+ years of experience as a software developer or SRE on production projects
  • Experience with cloud automation tools, including Terraform
  • Knowledge of Azure Serverless technology, including Azure Functions, Synapse
  • Affinity for Agile development environments
  • Strong teamwork orientation and collaboration skills
