About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Interim HealthCare Inc team as a Hospice RN in Mauldin, South Carolina.

Job Summary

This role involves providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals with life-limiting illnesses. As a Hospice RN, you will work closely with patients and their families to develop personalized care plans that address their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospice care, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients' physical and psychosocial status
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans in collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Group (IDG), patients, and families
  • Provide hands-on care and support to patients and families, including medication management, wound care, and symptom management
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program
  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of South Carolina or compact multi-state license
  • Twelve (12) months of accumulated experience as a registered nurse within the last five (5) years
  • One (1) year of hospice care experience preferred
