Sales and Power Equipment Technician

The Sales Associate and Stihl Repair Technician is a critical role within our team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring consistent inventory stock levels across all departments, with a primary focus on the outdoor power-tool department.
As a valued member of our sales team, you will be expected to provide proactive assistance to customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. Your strong product knowledge and ability to communicate effectively will be key in resolving customer complaints and providing a positive shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Customer Service
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all customers are greeted and assisted in a timely and courteous manner. - Inventory Management
• Ensure consistent inventory stock levels across all departments, with a focus on the outdoor power-tool department. - Stihl Repair and Maintenance
• Service and repair Stihl products in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to vendor warranty and guidelines. - Store Operations
• Supervise the general operations of the outdoor power department, ensuring a positive and professional work environment. - Inventory Control
• Responsible for ordering and maintaining desirable product inventory levels to ensure store profitability in compliance with corporate objectives. - Physical Demands
• Stand, walk, lift (up to 50lbs), and climb, with the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Requirements
High school or GED equivalent required; degree preferred. Small engine, mechanic, or equivalent training. Previous retail experience and experience repairing Stihl gas products are a plus.
