As a Critical Care Tech at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our Emergency Department. You will work collaboratively with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
Perform direct and indirect patient care in collaboration with an RN or Physician
Facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the team to meet the physical and emotional needs of the patient
Place orders, receive and stock supplies for the department/unit
Assist support staff with filing, medical records, and daily tasks as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Current Colorado Emergency Medical Technician-Basic or A-EMT or EMT-Intermediate or Paramedic license required
IV certification required upon hire
One year healthcare experience (pre-hospital, ED and/or patient care) preferred
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Basic computer skills
Work Environment:
The Emergency Department at our 84th Avenue Neighborhood Health Center is a freestanding, Level IV trauma ED, with 16 beds and approximately 48 patients per day. We strive for a 4:1 ratio and value open communication amongst our team members. Pay Range:
$18.00/Hr. to $27.68/Hr.
Shift:
Mid shift, 11am-11pm with rotating weekends and holidays.
