The Vonachen Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team in Peoria, IL.

Job Summary:

The Day Porter is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in our facilities. This includes cleaning, stocking, and organizing janitorial supply rooms, as well as monitoring building security and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain facilities, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning.
  • Stock and organize janitorial supply rooms as needed.
  • Monitor building security and safety, including locking doors after hours.
  • Inform management of any potential safety risks or hazards.
  • Complete other duties and special trainings as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
  • Good communication skills and strong detail orientation.
  • Customer-oriented and friendly.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, repeat the same movements, and lift up to 50 pounds.
