Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and participate in therapeutic milieu
- Accurately and timely document patient information and progress
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with patients and colleagues
- Participate in patient rounds and teams, and complete patient care assignments
- Identify and address patient behaviors that contribute to crisis situations, and utilize de-escalation techniques
- Communicate changes in patient status to the Registered Nurse, and follow established Nursing policies and protocols
- High School diploma or GED required
- Prefer two years of college plus one year of clinical experience, preferably in a psychiatric setting
- Licensure: N/A
- Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work in collaboration with others
