Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center. As a CT Scan Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining computerized tomography (CT) scanners, capturing high-quality images of patients' internal structures, and collaborating with radiologists to provide accurate diagnoses.

About the Role:

This is a 13-week contract position, offering a competitive salary of $3170 per week. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain CT scanners to ensure optimal performance and image quality
  • Capture high-quality images of patients' internal structures, following established protocols and guidelines
  • Collaborate with radiologists to provide accurate diagnoses and communicate results to patients and healthcare providers
  • Maintain patient records, including imaging reports and medical histories
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in CT scanning technology

Requirements:

  • Associates degree in radiologic technology or related field
  • Current ARRT registration in computed tomography
  • 1+ year of experience as a CT technologist
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
