Job Description

Serenity Care Resources is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/ Home Health Aide to join our team in Delaware County.

  • This role involves providing non-medical assistance to clients who require support with daily living activities.
  • Responsibilities include assisting with meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, laundry, shopping, pet care, and errands as needed.
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Prepare meals and snacks for clients, as needed.
  • Remind clients to take their medications and assist with medication management.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to clients, including reading, conversation, and listening.
  • Assist clients with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry.
  • Accompany clients on walks, community trips, and other outings.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of experience in a care-giving role preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.
