">- We are seeking a skilled Palliative Medicine Physician to lead our Division, enhancing the quality of life for individuals with serious and life-limiting illness.
The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding palliative medicine efforts while coordinating initiatives with colleagues in pain medicine, ethics, and addiction medicine. This role is part of our department's mission to continue growing its operations throughout the UofL network and affiliates.
">- About the Role:
- Promote interdisciplinary collaboration between physician faculty, nurse practitioners, chaplains, social workers, and psychologists to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and implement educational programs, including a fellowship program and a palliative medicine clerkship required for all UofL medical students.
- Leverage national grant funding to support research in inter-professional education within palliative care settings.
