AI/ML Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled AIRAIL Lead AI/ML Engineer to join our team at Optum, where you will play a pivotal role in harnessing the power of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) to revolutionize healthcare.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and develop novel AI/ML approaches for healthcare using both structured and unstructured data
• Build and test deep learning and traditional ML models in distributed computing environments
• Conduct statistical analysis and create data visualizations to inform business decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and solution implementation
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and literature in AI/ML, sharing knowledge with colleagues to drive innovation

Requirements:

• Masters degree in Computer Science or related field and 5+ years of industry/academic experience in machine learning or a related field OR a PhD and 2+ years of experience
• 5+ years of AI/ML experience, including deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience working with large datasets
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
