Job Summary:

PsiQuantum is seeking an experienced test engineering manager for our Test & Measurement team. The successful candidate will lead critical operations, manage upgrades, and system level improvements while enabling software development. This role requires collaboration with various teams including Operations, Architects, Photonics, Electronics, Foundry, and Packaging Teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure maintenance and upgrade cycles, software changes, user training, and planning for high availability.
  • Technical Capability: Deep knowledge in device and test characterization, creating or updating tests/characterizations to be fast, effective, and operationally effective.
  • Equipment Repair and Troubleshooting: Hands-on ability to fix software, hardware, and electronics issues, and critical documentation.
  • Software Systems: Understand manufacturing systems (MES), lab, and data management systems.
  • System Ownership: Understand operational and technical metrics, models of record for capability and uptime, and standard system planning.
Requirements:
  • Experience in photonic test or characterization, particularly wafer level test.
  • Experience with software development and software management and planning.
  • Experience working with engineers and technologists in R&D and NPI environments.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ownership, biased to action, results-oriented, attention to detail, data-driven, strong organization skills, works well in teams, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation:

The expected base pay range for this position is $160,000 - $190,000 USD per year. Full-time roles are eligible for equity and benefits. Base pay is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
