Job Title: Construction Inspector

JKMuir is seeking a skilled Construction Inspector to join our team in the Hartford, CT area. As a Construction Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead tasks for projects and assist senior project managers in ensuring timely completion.
  • Work collaboratively with project teams to prepare daily field reports and interface with regulatory agencies.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with client personnel and maintain a positive public image.
  • Exhibit integrity and the highest quality in all activities and maintain equipment and field and office supplies.
  • Provide recommendations for design improvements and be knowledgeable of proper use and care for equipment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction administration or oversight, with linear pipe installation experience preferred.
  • Experience on water/wastewater construction projects is desired, including experience with construction oversight.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing and independent and self-motivated with attention to detail and excellent client interaction skills.
