Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

NV5 is a leading provider of engineering and consulting services to public and private sector clients. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping our communities through the services we provide. We are seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our team focused on delivering solutions and improving lives.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, design, and manage all mechanical design of complex projects in the pharmaceutical and laboratory facility design field.
  • Generate and review calculations, equipment specifications, controls drawings, and construction drawings.
  • Maintain familiarity with current industry standards, trends, technologies, building codes, and cGMP standards.
  • Develop proposals and client presentations.
  • Travel to sites approximately 15-20% of the time.
Qualifications:
  • BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and PE License.
  • 10 to 15 years' experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and co-workers.
  • Ability to set priorities, be self-disciplined, and consistent.
  • Ability to multitask between different project assignments.
  • Good written and oral communications skills.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM 360.
