About the Position
The Program Office supports all USAID overseas offices with policy development, strategic planning, congressional outreach, audits, communications, budgeting, and coordination with regional counterparts.
This role is responsible for managing risks, equities, and visibility associated with audits and inquiries from OIG, GAO, and SIGAR.
The selected candidate will report to the PO Budget Division Chief and be based in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with Mission audit teams to manage audit responses, track, report, coordinate, review, and gather information.
- Lead Asia Bureau's audit response efforts and manage risks, equities, and visibility.
- Assist with completing operating unit risk profiles and follow up on resolution of identified risks.
- Facilitate FOIA requests for the Asia Bureau.
- Provide expert advice and articulate recommendations to top management officials.
Qualifications
- MA/MS in Accounting, Business Administration, Management, Finance, or relevant field.
- 10 years of professional experience in audit and risk management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading US Federal Government audit responses.
- Experience working abroad, preferably in the Asia region, is desired.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation, and drafting of audit memorandums.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Windows, and e-mail applications.
- Knowledge of US Federal Government audit and risk management concepts.
- Active Secret security clearance required.
**Estimated Annual Salary:** $108,500
