Activity Based Intelligence Instructor

As a Geospatial Intelligence Professional, you will be responsible for delivering in-class and virtual courses in accordance with course requirements and competencies. You will utilize instructional methods such as guided discussions, lectures, demonstrations, small group exercises, seminars, workshops, and laboratories. The customer utilizes different instructional technology, including but not limited to Blackboard. You will contribute to an assessment strategy in accordance with the course design, including instructor observation, testing, and grading. Additionally, you will be part of a team and help develop future ABI professionals by providing formal and informal student feedback.
This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance.
EXPERIENCE
- Recent and relevant experience analyzing and interpreting GEOINT data to support U.S. military and policymaker's interest within the last 36 months.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Must have the ability to combine an understanding of geospatial data with multiple types of collection from multiple intelligence disciplines in order to characterize events, discover relationships, identify human networks, and detect patterns of activity.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the production cycles for a variety of intelligence data.
- Expertise in using geographic information systems (specifically ArcMap, ArcPro, and/or QGIS) to process, analyze, and visualize data.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the breadth of the GEOINT products and services that NGA produces.
- Documented experience with GEOINT tools, product creation, and mission support.
- Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas: Human Geography, Activity Based Intelligence, Targeting Analysis, Critical Thinking, GEOINT writing, Cyber GEOINT, Geospatial Analysis, Imagery Analysis, and Foundation GEOINT.
- Willingness to travel periodically.
DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience using Python, Java, R, or other coding languages for analyzing and conditioning data.
- Ability to develop and maintain content to be hosted on learning management systems (Blackboard) or content management systems (SharePoint) as required.
- Familiarity and/or working knowledge of the Intelligence Community and NGA.
