VNA Health Group is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to patients in their homes or alternate community settings.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP certification, and 2-3 years of prior clinical experience, preferably in community-based settings. Strong computer skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a valid NJ driver's license are also required.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate clients for speech and language therapy needs and develop and implement appropriate plans of action in collaboration with physicians.
  • Document all changes in clients' conditions and update care plans and outcomes accordingly.
  • Identify counseling needs and plan appropriate teaching strategies.
  • Monitor quality and appropriateness of services provided.
  • Adhere to agency infection control and safety policies.
  • Adhere to the organization's policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP certification and Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • 2-3 years of prior clinical experience and community-based experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid NJ driver's license.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

  • Working indoors/outdoors, driving, lifting, sitting, standing, walking, fine motor hand movement, use of phone and tablet for documentation.
