Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and patient-focused Ophthalmic Assistant to join our team at Vitreoretinal Surgery PLLC. As an Ophthalmic Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our medical team in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with patients and demonstrate a patient-centric attitude and professionalism.
  • Gather and relay important patient data to the physician.
  • Administer dilation drops and perform necessary testing, including visual acuity and glaucoma tests.
  • Direct and accompany patients to the appropriate room for care.

Requirements:

  • High School Degree or GED.
  • Personal motivation to provide excellent patient care.
  • Minimum of 2 years of previous ophthalmology experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • Excellent team player with strong communication skills.
