About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and results-driven individual who can oversee the coordination and facilitation of the Trauma Performance Improvement Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring quality care for trauma patients, as well as providing education and training to staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and facilitate performance improvement activities, including data collection, analysis, trending, and benchmarking of data outcomes.
  • Collaborate with managers, staff, and education teams to identify, implement, and evaluate education programs for trauma based on new trauma care guidelines, research, evidence-based practice, and educational needs.
  • Provide trauma education in orientation classes in the Emergency Department and coordinate outreach education programs such as ATLS, ATCN, and TNCC.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) with three years of experience in trauma/PI.
  • Advanced Trauma Care (ATCN), Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC): ATCN or TNCC.
