Job Opportunity

Pediatric Home Service is a leading provider of home health care services, dedicated to delivering exceptional care to children and their families. We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Billing Specialist to join our team.

  • Position: Medical Billing Specialist
  • Location: Remote (Ohio or Kentucky)
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

Responsibilities:

  • Submit and follow up on claims through Brightree or insurance portals
  • Collect and post payments in patient accounts
  • Communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances
  • Resolve partial payment or denials from insurance companies
  • Perform other accounts receivable duties

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and demonstrated initiative
  • Ability to problem solve and work independently
  • Technical skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel
  • 2 years of medical billing experience preferred
  • Experience with BrightTree preferred
  • Experience with insurance
