Digital Communications and Brand Ambassador

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications and Social Media Specialist to join our team at the American Culinary Federation. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in digital communications, social media, and content creation to promote our programs, events, and membership.
About the RoleThis position will focus on developing and managing social media strategies to enhance our brand presence. You will create engaging content, manage social media interactions, and drive engagement across all major platforms. Additionally, you will assist with administrative tasks, collaborate with other departments, and support broader organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities- Social Media Strategy & Content Creation:
- Develop and implement social media strategies to promote ACF's programs and initiatives.
- Create and publish engaging content, including posts, images, videos, and more, across all major platforms.
- Maintain a content calendar to ensure regular and consistent posting.
- Manage social media interactions, responding to comments and messages to build relationships with followers.
- Stay up to date on trends and conversations relevant to ACF's audience.
- Work with other departments (Membership, Certification, Finance, Events) to support their social media needs and align content with organizational priorities.
- Assist the Communications team with administrative duties such as answering phones, directing inquiries, and maintaining records related to social media activities.
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in communications, marketing, or related field.
- Experience managing social media platforms and creating content.
- Proficiency in social media tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics.
- Strong communication skills and creativity.
- Knowledge of SEO, paid social media advertising, and content marketing is a plus.
- Culinary industry knowledge is a bonus, but not required.
We offer a competitive salary range of $42,000 - $52,000 annually, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision plans, a matching 401(K), paid holidays, and vacation time. As a hybrid position, you will work from home and have access to a laptop provided by the company. A valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation are required for occasional travel.
