Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Outpatient Behavioral Health Therapist to join our team at Intercommunity Action I. As a key member of our mental health services department, you will provide trauma-informed outpatient therapy to adults and families experiencing behavioral health issues.

About the Role:

  • Provide client-centered, trauma-informed outpatient treatment to a diverse caseload of individuals 18 years and older, families, etc.
  • Enter intake and therapy appointments into electronic medical records at least 48 hours in advance.
  • Meet minimum performance standards, including a minimum billing expectation of 25 hours per week.
  • Accurately enter all progress notes within 3 days of service and supportive documentation (e.g., treatment plans, safety plans, case management notes, Briefs, Triage notes, no show or cancellation notes).
  • Accurately complete timesheet in ADP by end of business day on Fridays once all documentation is completed for the week.
  • With the individual's consent, make a concerted effort to engage identified support system including family and significant others, as it pertains to identified treatment goals.
  • Provide an initial and ongoing assessment of presenting issues, diagnostic impressions, and recommended course of treatment.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Human Services field.
  • License not required but preference given to licensed candidates.
  • Previous experience providing behavioral health therapy to adults preferred.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must have Valid Childline, PA Criminal History and FBI Clearances prior to seeing clients.
  • Willingness to be trained in EBPs that are appropriate to current caseload/clientele, with preference to candidates already trained in CBT or another EBP.
  • Able to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
