Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Snowcat Operator to join our team at Big Sky Resort. As a Snowcat Operator, you will be responsible for grooming ski runs after lift operation hours and assisting with snowmaking during the early season.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate snowcats safely and efficiently
  • Conduct daily machine inspections to ensure optimal performance
  • Work collaboratively with a team of operators to prepare slopes for our guests
  • May be required to work outside in various weather conditions
  • Perform shoveling tasks as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized cab and windows
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Previous experience with heavy equipment operation is preferred but not required
