As a key member of our Choices Emergency Response Teams (CERT), you will provide peer support services to individuals and families affected by mental illness and substance use disorders.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Provide crisis intervention and support to individuals in need
* Collaborate with first responders, community stakeholders, and clinical leadership to ensure effective stabilization and linkage to ongoing supports
* Develop and maintain relationships with community partners to enhance crisis response services
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in crisis response and recovery support

**Requirements:**

* High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
* 2 years of recovery experience and abstinence from drugs or alcohol
* Prior experience in mental health crisis response preferred
* Strong communication and writing skills
* Bi-lingual skills (Spanish) a plus
* Familiarity with Systems of Care values and principles
* Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
