Job Summary

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and their families while working in a supportive and dynamic environment. As a Nurse Practitioner - Dialysis Care Specialist at DaVita, you will provide empathetic and compassionate care to patients in an outpatient dialysis center, focusing on those with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. No prior dialysis experience is necessary, as excellent paid training will be provided.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to individuals with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct regular assessments and monitoring of patients' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Promote patient education and empowerment through effective communication and counseling.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • An Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N).
  • A valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional patient care and making a positive impact on the lives of others.
