Civil Service Liaison

NYC Health + Hospitals is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Civil Service Liaison to assist with the hiring process, track email correspondence, and audit Civil Service records and codes.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with the Civil Service hiring process, including preparing materials, emailing candidates, and tracking emails.
- Facilitate candidate interviews at hiring pools to ensure compliance with Civil Service laws and NYC Health + Hospitals rules.
- Reconcile hiring pool documents and prepare dispositions to document candidate status and hiring pool results.
- Enter data into departmental databases to document hiring pool outcomes and update candidate information.
- Assist with coordinating qualifying language assessments and responding to inquiries from the public, employees, and candidates.
- Generate system reports to monitor and replace Provisionals.
- Assist with file management, including scanning and archiving civil service records and hiring pool results.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of scanned files and database entries to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare summary reports, metrics, and memos regarding civil service hiring pools and exams.
- Assist with Civil Service Code Audits and track candidate restorations to civil service lists.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Labor Relations, Public Relations, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- 2 years of relevant experience in human resources or personnel administration, labor relations, employee relations, learning and development, talent acquisition, customer service, or a related administrative support function.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
