We are currently seeking an Electronics Fabrication Specialist to join our team in Miamisburg, Ohio. This role will involve performing tasks such as assembling electronic components, subassemblies, products or systems under close supervision. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to learn new processes and systems quickly, and possess intermediate computer skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Receiving detailed instructions on all work
  • Positioning and aligning parts in specified relationships
  • Performing intermediate assembly tasks such as soldering, potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, laser welding, and operating pneumatic machinery
  • Installing finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases or other packing material
  • Performing assembly operations under a microscope or other magnifying device

Key requirements include:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent and at least six to twenty-four months of industrial experience or similar training
  • Ability to read schematics and assembly prints, as well as being thoroughly familiar with assembly operations such as wiring, welding, bonding, and soldering
  • Certification in IPC/J-STD within 90 days of employment and throughout tenure
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 qualification
  • Ability to achieve a security clearance
