MRG Exams is a leading provider of Independent Medical Exams for Worker's Compensation, Disability, and the Veterans Administration. Founded in 1998, our company has been dedicated to serving the Veteran community by providing Disability Assessments Nationwide.
We are currently seeking a licensed Psychologist to join our team as an Independent Contractor. The successful candidate will perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
In this role, you will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and conduct comprehensive assessments in person with each Veteran. You will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal.
As a Licensed Psychologist, your primary responsibility will be to assess Veterans' disabilities, not make disability determinations. The U.S. Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations using the findings recorded in the DBQs.
This position requires In-Person interactions with Veterans, Monday through Friday. You will review and assess four Veterans per day. The daily rate for this position is $500+ , with malpractice insurance covered by MRG Exams. Health insurance options are also available.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:
- A Ph.D. or Psy.D from an APA-accredited program
- An active & unrestricted Psychology license
- Meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
If you are passionate about serving the Veteran community and possess the required skills and qualifications, please consider applying for this exciting opportunity.
