Job Description

Alvarez Construction, a leading production home builder in Louisiana, is seeking a skilled Community Sales Manager to join our team. As a Community Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in helping families find their dream homes and creating a positive home buying experience.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of sales experience and a bachelor's degree. They will be responsible for stimulating and managing all sales activity within a set community, ensuring daily construction-related issues are addressed, and home buyers are updated on the progress of their future home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Influence the home-buying decision-making process by effectively communicating value to our buyers
  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with new home buyers
  • Proactively pursue all installed base leads
  • Utilize our company program to manage your sales pipeline
  • Review all selections, plans, and documents prior to the buyer meeting for the contract signing
  • Ensure the company website is up to date with the most recent and correct information for your community
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the Model Home(s) and SPECs
  • Aid in training of sales associates

Requirements and Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years Sales experience
  • Bachelor's Degree desired
  • Must be able to bring own laptop or tablet for work as needed
  • Must be available to work weekends
  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must have excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize
  • General computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft office products is required
  • The ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions is required

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Initial compensation for 6 months during preliminary stage to learn responsibilities and about Alvarez Construction
  • Training is provided for this position
  • After 6 months, compensation transitions to 100% commission with bonus structure after goals are met
  • 1 weekend off a month
  • Mondays off
