Occupational Therapy Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapy Specialist to join our team for the upcoming school year. As an Occupational Therapy Specialist, you will work with students in elementary school, providing essential occupational therapy services to help them achieve their academic and developmental goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and develop individualized therapy plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' progress and provide training and resources to staff and families.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, ensuring that they receive the best possible care and support.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Georgia.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
