Job Responsibilities

As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will deliver exceptional nursing support in a collaborative environment. Your role will involve assisting patients with their daily living activities while ensuring a secure and therapeutic atmosphere. You will monitor, document, and communicate various patient needs and responses as they arise. Additionally, you will contribute to addressing both the mental and physical health requirements of patients. Flexibility in assignments may be required to meet the operational needs of the organization.

Employment Structure

This position is classified as a wage role, with a limit of 1,500 working hours within a specified annual period. Employees in this role are restricted to an average of 29 hours per week. Please note that this position does not offer state benefits.

Essential Qualifications

- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid and unrestricted CNA license issued by the appropriate regulatory body
- Familiarity with patient care practices, personal care techniques, and infection control protocols
- Proven ability to accurately measure and record vital signs, safely transfer patients, recognize distress signals, and perform CPR
- Capability to manage crisis situations effectively
- Ability to work within a secure environment
- Strong communication skills, initiative, organizational skills, and time management abilities

Preferred Experience

- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in nursing or secured patient care environments
- Proficiency in computer applications, including professional email and office software
