Maintenance Director

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Director to oversee the Environmental Services Department at our skilled nursing facility in Forest City, PA.

The Maintenance Director will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the overall operation of the Environmental Services Department to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.

• Ensure the facility and department are maintained in a clean and safe manner, with necessary equipment and supplies available to perform required duties and services.
• Manage and maintain a sufficient level of supplies, disinfectants, equipment, and other necessary items to provide a clean, safe, and sanitary environment.
• Ensure environmental personnel understand and follow Universal Precautions, safety rules, fire and disaster procedures, and departmental policies and procedures while performing daily tasks.
• Make daily rounds to ensure environmental services personnel are performing required duties and to ensure appropriate procedures are being followed to meet the needs of the facility.

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory capacity, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
• Training in environmental control practices and procedures is preferred.
• Medical or long-term care experience is desirable.
