**Job Description:**

Under the supervision of the Child Development Program Director, the Behavioral Development Coach will play a crucial role in observing, assessing, and providing support to children with emotional or behavioral challenges. This includes applying evidence-based behavioral principles to help individuals develop new productive behaviors and replace problematic ones.

**Key Responsibilities:*

  • Interact daily with child development students and provide behavioral support to students, parents, and teachers.
  • Assess and interpret children's cognitive, social/emotional, language, and physical skills.
  • Support teachers and parents in implementing behavior support plans and instructional goals.
  • Participate as an active member of the Child and Family Team, supporting both parents and child.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related Human Services field from an accredited college or university.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years' experience working with children in early childhood education, focusing on behavioral, cognitive, social, emotional needs, and developmental delays.
